Duration and renewal

• ✦ The subscription runs for one month, automatically renewed each month for the same duration, until cancelled.
• ✦ Cancellation, available at any time from the parent area, takes effect at the end of the current, already-paid period — no pro-rata refund is due for that period.

Right of withdrawal

Under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to a service fully performed before the end of that period, nor to digital content whose performance has started, where the consumer has expressly requested this and waived that right. That is the purpose of the checkbox at subscription: it acts as both the request for immediate execution and the waiver, for the following episodes, delivered on the evenings you have chosen. The first episode, which is free, is not concerned: it commits you to nothing.

Cancellation by Lulio

• ✦ In case of non-payment, fraud, or use manifestly contrary to these terms, Lulio may suspend or cancel the subscription, after notice by email where circumstances allow it.
• ✦ If the service is permanently discontinued, subscribers are notified at least 30 days in advance; any amount already charged for a period not delivered is refunded.

Availability and evolution of the service

Lulio uses reasonable means to provide a continuous, quality service, without guaranteeing absolute availability (maintenance, outages, force majeure). Content, features and price may change; any price increase is announced by email at least 30 days before it applies, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

Generated content and parental supervision

• ✦ Episodes are generated automatically from the information the parent provides (first name, age, themes…); they are entertainment content, not educational, medical, or psychological advice.
• ✦ The parent remains solely responsible for choosing episodes suited to their child and for supervising how they are read or listened to.
• ✦ Lulio may withdraw or amend an episode that, despite automated checks, turns out to be inappropriate.
• ✦ The service's presentation visuals (the home page's video, photographs, and screenshots) are AI-generated. They illustrate the service and are not a commitment to the exact appearance of any given episode.

Intellectual property

Episodes generated for your subscription are licensed to you for strictly private and family use (reading, listening, personal archiving). Any reproduction, public distribution, or commercial use is prohibited without prior written consent; Lulio remains the owner of the rights to the content, the technology, and the trademark.

Liability

Lulio cannot be held liable for damage resulting from use of the service that does not comply with these terms, from an interruption caused by a third party (host, technical providers), or from a case of force majeure. This limitation does not apply to gross or intentional misconduct by Lulio, nor to consumer-protection rules that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

These terms may evolve with the service or the regulations. Any substantial change is notified by email at least 30 days before it takes effect; continuing the subscription after that date constitutes acceptance, and you may cancel beforehand if you refuse the change.

Mediation and disputes

Under Article L616-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may seek free recourse to a consumer mediator for any dispute not resolved directly with Lulio; their contact details will be published on this page once appointed. Failing an amicable agreement, consumer-protective jurisdiction rules apply, including the option to bring proceedings before the court of your place of residence.

Account and minimum age

The subscription is taken out by an adult of legal age (18) who is the legal guardian of the hero child. Lulio does not collect any information directly from the child and does not open any account for them.

Android app

• ✦ The Lulio app for Android is free to download on Google Play. It gives access to the same account and the same subscription as the website: nothing in these terms changes whether you read in the app or in a browser.
• ✦ Downloading and updating the app is governed by Google Play's terms; use of the Lulio service is governed by these terms.
• ✦ The app can send you notifications, for example when an episode is ready. They are only sent if you have allowed them, and can be turned off at any time in your phone's settings.
