Advent calendar

An Advent calendar made of stories, with your child in them

From December 1 to 24, a new door opens every evening. Behind it is a story written for your child, to read aloud before sleep, all the way to Christmas Eve.

How it works

Every evening from December 1 to 24, at the time you picked, the day's door opens in your parent space. You read it aloud, like the usual episode: five to fifteen minutes depending on age, and no screen for your child.

Your child is the hero. Their brothers and sisters, their pet and their cuddly toy can play a part, just like in their saga the rest of the year.

A door never opens before its day. Skipping an evening blocks nothing: the door waits, and the next one still opens. After the 24th, the calendar stays up for a month, so you can reread the favourite doors.

Three ways to tell it

Santa's thread. A quest that runs until the evening of the 24th: your child helps Santa and his elves get Christmas ready, and each door moves the story forward.

Little seasonal tales. Each evening, an almost standalone tale about snow, the tree or cookies. Santa doesn't appear, for families who would rather not bring him up.

Your child's worlds, Christmas edition. The worlds they chose, pirates, space or dragons, where Christmas settles in little by little. Santa doesn't appear here either.

What about the current saga?

It pauses during the calendar and picks up on its own on the 25th, right where it left off. There is nothing for you to set.

What it costs

The calendar is included in the subscription at no extra cost: €12.99 a month on the Solo plan, €19.99 on the Family plan, no commitment. On the Family plan, each child can have their own calendar.

You turn it on from your parent space, from early November to December 20. Turned on mid-month, it starts at that day's door.

The rest of the year

Regular episodes follow the calendar too. Halloween, Easter or Valentine's Day find their way into the story when the time comes, one or two at a time at most.

To see what a Lulio story looks like before deciding, a sample episode can be read in full, without signing up.
