Bedtime stories for siblings, each with their own saga
With the Family plan, two heroes each get their own saga, written for their age, with their own universes and their own evening email. Siblings can also show up in each other's stories.
Create a first hero, then add the others whenever you like. The first episode is free, no credit card.
Try it freeOne saga per child
The same story read to a 3-year-old and a 9-year-old rarely pleases both: what amuses one bores the other. With the Family plan, each hero has their own saga, with a tone set for their age, their own universes and their own characters.
Each child gets their own evening email, so you don't mix up episodes when several arrive on the same night. And the older child's saga doesn't move forward because the younger one read theirs.
Siblings in each other's stories
Siblings can appear as characters in each other's sagas. An older brother finds his little sister in his story, and she runs into him in hers. Each saga keeps its own hero: the brother or sister plays a supporting character.
That way each child's stories look a bit more like life at home, without everyone listening to the same one.

Solo or Family: what changes
The Solo plan costs €12.99 per month, VAT included, for one hero. The Family plan costs €19.99 per month, VAT included, for two heroes. Both have no commitment and cancel in one click, and the first episode is free, no credit card.
On Solo, a brother or sister can become the hero at any time, and the stories already written stay readable. What Solo doesn't allow is following two children at the same time, each with their own thread and tone.
One account for the whole family
All the heroes are on the same account. You read in the browser, or in the free Android app from Google Play, which alerts you when an episode is ready; on an iPhone, the browser is enough. Children don't have an account and no photo is asked for. Adding a child just means creating one more hero.
The Advent calendar is switched on hero by hero: one child can follow it while the other keeps their saga. You're always the one reading, one child after the other. For what this moment gives each of them, see why read a bedtime story.

A story series for kids: 3 to 7 episodes, one per night
Every night, Lulio writes an episode whose hero has your child's name, and the next one starts where the last one stopped, until the saga ends. You read it aloud at bedtime. How the personalization works is explained in the guide to personalized bedtime stories.
Stories that adapt to your child, episode after episode
After each episode, a thumbs up or thumbs down is enough to say whether the story landed. When the same problem comes back, Lulio takes it into account for what follows, and you have nothing to redo.
Bedtime routine: building a calming ritual, from ages 2 to 10
A good bedtime routine is three or four steps, always in the same order and at about the same time each night: a quick wash, pajamas, a story, lights out. Consistency matters more than length, and a ten-minute routine kept every night beats a forty-minute one twice a week.
Personalized bedtime stories: how it works, and what the research shows
A personalized story is built around the child, and a name, one loved object and one family member are enough. One small study of 18 preschool children found they retained more rare words from personalized passages. No study cited shows it helps a child fall asleep. See the science of bedtime reading.
